Whispers of the Wild

300–600 words

Let your imagination roam through forests, oceans, and untamed lands. Write a story where nature holds the magic — and every creature has a tale to tell.

Twisted Fairytales

600–1,000 words

Take a classic fairytale and flip it upside down. Heroes become villains, dragons become friends, and happily-ever-after looks nothing like you expected.

Imagine a world that's broken — but find the light within it. Write a story where hope and resilience push back against darkness, and young voices change everything.

Pick your category, match your age group, and write an original story within the word count. Save it as a Word Doc (.docx) or PDF. No AI tools, no plagiarism — your voice, your story.

Fill the Form & Pay

Complete the registration form below with your details and pay ₹490 securely via Razorpay — UPI, cards, and net banking all accepted. You'll get a payment confirmation instantly.

Upload & Submit

Upload your story file (.docx or PDF) directly in the form. After payment, it's saved automatically — no email needed. Submit before 30th June 2026. Our literary jury will evaluate entries and announce results. Follow @bukmuklibrary for updates.

Important Rules

Before You Submit

Please read these guidelines carefully before entering.

✅ Your story must be 100% original work — written entirely by you.
🚫 Do not use AI tools (ChatGPT, etc.) to write or edit your story.
📏 Respect the word count for your age category — no more, no less.
👩‍⚖️ The jury's decision is final and binding for all entries.
🗂️ Submit your story as a Word document (.docx) or PDF only.
📅 All entries must be submitted by 30th June 2026.
